Viruses exist as droplet nuclei in the form of droplets and aerosols, of which 82% of the droplet nuclei have a diameter in the range of 0.74-2.12 microns. Therefore, melt-blown non-woven fabrics have become core materials such as masks and HEPA filter papers, which can effectively prevent viruses and play an irreplaceable role in the medical and health fields.

The filter cotton and electrostatic cotton of the gas mask also use meltblown non-woven fabric, and the high-end dust filter box uses HEPA filter.

The weight range of meltblown non-woven fabric is generally 15-500 g/m2, and the meltblown non-woven fabric used in masks is light and thin. For comparison, the T-shirt we wear in summer weighs about 150 grams. For masks with different filtration levels, the thickness of the meltblown non-woven fabric is very important.

Disinfection of meltblown non-woven fabrics will not significantly change the fiber morphology, and alcohol spray will not necessarily greatly reduce the filtering capacity of the mask. but! This does not mean that you can safely wear a sterilized mask. The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued the "Technical Guidelines for Mask Selection and Use", which proposed that masks should be saved when they are in the province, and do not save when they should not. It should be flexibly selected according to usage scenarios and protection requirements.
