The PP spunbond fabric and PET spunbond fabric (non woven polyester fabric distributor) is widely used in our daily life.
From the appearance, the two kinds fabrics look similar.
Let me tell you some the differences between them.
1.Touch feeling
For the same GSM fabric, PP spunbond is softer than PET spunbond fabric.
2.raw materail and melting point.
PP spunbond is made of polypropylene .The melting point is approx 140-170℃.
PET spunbond is made of polyester .
The melting point is approx 220-250℃.
3.Different light fastness
PP non-woven fabric: poor light resistance, easy to aging brittle damage.
Polyester non-woven fabric: excellent light resistance, only 60% strength loss after 600 houes sunlight exposure.
4.Density.
PP non-woven fabric (China polypropylene nonwoven fabric manufacturer): the density is only 0.91g/cm3and it is the lightest variety of common chemical fiber density.
Polyester non-woven fabric (PET spunbond non woven wholesaler): polyester is completely amorphous with a density of 1.333g/cm3.
5. Cost
Pet spunbond fabric is a bit more expensive than PP spunbond fabric.
Both the 2 kinds fabrics can be used in flower packing,shopping bags, filter material, agricultural,sofa material,car derocation,etc.
