(1) The length of the fiber should not betoo long, and the proper slenderness ratio should be maintained. The longer thefiber, the worse the uniformity of the web. Moreover, the narrower the discrete distribution of fiber length, the better the dispersion of fibers in water.Chemical fiber requires good cutting quality, and long fiber and super longfiber are avoided as much as possible.

(2) The fiber is relatively straight andhas a small curl. The greater the degree of crimp of the fibers, the more complicated the curl, the more entangled between the fibers, the more difficultit is to disperse in water, especially the three-dimensional fibers are difficult to disperse.

(3) The fiber should have a certainhy groscopicity. The better the hygroscopicity of the fiber(China PET Nonwovens Manufacturer), the stronger theability of the fiber to swell in water and the better the dispersibility.

(4) The surface friction factor of the fiber is small. The greater the surface friction factor of the fiber, the moreeasily the fiber is entangled and the more difficult it is to disperse inwater. The dispersing property of the fiber can be improved by adding amoisture absorbent, a dispersing agent or the like to the slurry.
